The crown jewel, so to speak, within Knobloch's successful gemstone series. The vines stand on terra fusca, also called limestone brown clay.

Partly in barriques, partly in wooden barrels, high-class Pinot Noir.

Anyone who likes fruity and mild wines is in good hands with the Knoblochs.

Bright, dense purple in the glass. Very juicy, with lots of sweet cherries and blueberries, plus fruit tea and sweet spices. Soft, round and inviting.

Dornfelder doesn't always have the best reputation in Germany. This may be because not all wines made from this variety are as successful as this one.

Solid craftsmanship. As always with Knoblochs. Red apple, pear and peach, some grated hazelnut, quite spicy.

A balanced, harmonious example of a wine from the estate. Nutty notes on the nose, pears, mandarins and citrus on the palate.

Blanc de Noir is a white wine made from red grapes. This requires particularly careful processing so that no colorings from the grape skins are transferred to the wine.

Classic, but also fruity Pinot Noir from Rheinhessen. Forest berries, cold smoke, cedar wood, with a lively acid structure and fine-grained tannins. Balanced and pleasantly open.

A Gutsriesling with the title Kabinett, actually a little more than just a normal Gutswein. In the warm year 2018, the grape quality would even have allowed a late harvest.

THE white wine for all professing Lieblich drinkers. The art here is not to let the wine become pushy, sticky sweet and at the same time to bring out its varietal character.

The floral nose of a typical, classic Gewürztraminer: fresh grapes, tropical fruit and above all rose petals. Really dry and with it an amazingly well-preserved freshness.

What kind of colour! Deep purple, almost like cherry juice. In fact, it has a lot of morello cherries on the nose and on the palate, but also liquorice, cinnamon and blackberries.

A fruity rosé by the liter that will delight wine drinkers who prefer a less dry wine.

In Bavaria, beer is considered a staple food by many. In some German wine-growing regions, Riesling has a similar status.

Until the early 1990s, Silvaner was the most widely grown variety in Germany, ahead of Riesling.

The liter wines of the Hemers come from fertile sandy loam soils around the Abenheim district of Worms.

Everything you can expect from a Portuguese: hints of berry scents such as red currant, raspberry and blackberry, slightly peppery notes.

If the liter bottle is too much for you, you may have found the right size with the 0.25l bottle. Fits in every well-stocked minibar.

Powerful and spicy Pinot Gris. Sweet red apple, apple blossom, ripe pineapple, a hint of nutmeg and subtle nutty aromas.

Very inviting nose with meadow herbs and vineyard peach. Aromatic and juicy: exotic fruit notes, spicy creaminess and a lot of play.

Rich Riesling with well-balanced acidity and the matching fruit sweetness from one of the best locations in Rheinhessen. Lots of extract and fullness with a creamy texture.

A great red cuvée to complement this series, which is so successful thanks to its courtesy. Round and soft tannins, very inviting and not arbitrary.

Unbelievably fresh, youthful rosé, on the nose a fine strawberry note, on the palate wonderfully fruity with natural raspberry aromas.
