In June we created a subtle assemblage from four selected 500l wooden barrels, the character of which is shaped by our Syrah vineyard located directly below the chapel.

Like all wines from Papari Valley, the Semi Sweet is fermented spontaneously, matured in a seven-level terrace system from Qvevri, not fined, not filtered and brought to the bottl.

Saperavi is also an autochthonous variety of Georgia: its name means something like dye grape, a reference to its deep dark color and reddish flesh.

Today, the white Rkatsiteli is by far the most important grape variety in its Georgian homeland.

2020 in the slipstream of 2019. Now in the young phase still very much on the barren, chalky side, almost puristic.

The first VDP.ERSTE GEWÄCHS from the Reiterpfad. For the first time, not only the grapes from the Hofstück sub-area classified as VDP.

Especially in the 2019 vintage, perhaps the best Riesling vintage of the last 25 years, a wine for a long life. Very fine nose with lots of biscuit, light tobacco, fine smokiness.

An incredibly precise Riesling. At the moment, the focus is less on the fruit and more on the great mineral power of St. Nicholas.
