White Wines

The leap in quality from Pinot Blanc in Gutsweins quality, which already knows how to convince, to ACHAT, the counterpart from the gemstone series, is immediately understandable.

If you've been working with a winery for so long, you have to be careful not to lose sight of wines that have been in your range for a long time.

The crown jewel, so to speak, within Knobloch's successful gemstone series. The vines stand on terra fusca, also called limestone brown clay.

Solid workmanship. As always with Knoblochs. Red apple, pear and peach, some grated hazelnut, quite spicy.

A balanced, harmonious example of a wine from the estate. Nutty notes on the nose, pears, mandarins and citrus on the palate.

Blanc de Noir is a white wine made from red grapes. This requires particularly careful processing so that no colorings from the grape skins are transferred to the wine.

A Gutsriesling with the title Kabinett, actually a little more than just a normal Gutswein. In the warm year 2018, the grape quality would even have allowed a late harvest.

THE white wine for all professing Lieblich drinkers. The art here is not to let the wine become pushy, sticky sweet and at the same time to bring out its varietal character.

The floral nose of a typical, classic Gewürztraminer: fresh grapes, tropical fruit and above all rose petals. Really dry and with it an amazingly well-preserved freshness.

In Bavaria, beer is considered a staple food by many. In some German wine-growing regions, Riesling has a similar status.

Rich Riesling with well-balanced acidity and the matching fruit sweetness from one of the best locations in Rheinhessen. Lots of extract and fullness with a creamy texture.

Wonderful Chardonnay with all the characteristics of this classic variety, creamy structure, strong body thanks to partial wood development, finesse typical of the winery and eleg.

Matthias Keth teases out fine aromas of gooseberries, lychee and cassis leaves from his Sauvignon Blanc.

Bouquet grape varieties such as Muskateller can sometimes overshoot the aromatic goal. Not here. Extremely balanced, elegant wine, fine aromas like fresh fruit.

Pinot Blanc fans watch out, here comes a particularly beautiful representative. It smells inviting and fresh of green banana peel and white peach.

The success story of the Keth wines continues with the current trend variety Pinot Gris. Ripe, exotic fruits on the nose, fresh and full-bodied on the palate.

Harmonious interplay of different white varieties that are lively and incredibly drinkable in the best sense.

With this cuvée made of fungus-resistant grape varieties, winemaker Keth shows that these ecologically sensible grape varieties can also offer uncompromisingly full wine enjoyment.

We are admittedly real lovers of this pleasantly aromatic grape variety and the Scheurebe, which Matthias Keth pressed exclusively for us, is really to our taste.
