Red Wines

Complex blend of mostly Merlot and smaller portions of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. One-year expansion in 300l wooden barrels, a good third of which as first use.

The smaller of the winery's two red wines is more accessible and fruity than the main wine, Château de L’Hospital.

This blend shows complex aromas of black currants, cedar wood, blackberries and spices. It matured for 18 months in new French barriques and another 36 on the bottle.

After six months of storage in the 3,000l oak barrel, GRAN FUDRE, the wine comes ready to drink on the bottle.

For many tasters, 2016 was a tad better than the previous year, 2015, which was already a really good vintage.

Red fruits characterize the character of this barrique-aged Barbera. It has a pleasant scent of dark cherries and candied berries as well as delicate tones of licorice and clove.

This excellent Valpolicella, produced using the Ripasso method, impresses with its intense ruby-red color and spicy bouquet with lovely hints of dark fruit.

The Montes “Twins” in Apalta and Marchigüe supply the grapes for the red wine blend of the same name. Both wineries are not too far from each other in the Colchagua Valley.

This cuvée is an example of how magnificent and juicy and powerful red wine can be made in the Cederberg region: ripe, dense plum and berry fruit, velvety tannins, lots of extract.

A young, fruity red wine to drink. The bouquet impresses with hints of sour cherry, wild berries and plums. The taste is spicy and harmonious, the finish fine and elegant.

The new entry-level wine is a stunner. Although it comes across as concentrated and dense, its gentle tannin structure already makes it incredibly accessible.

Torres' Sangre de Toro 0.0 Tinto blends Mediterranean grape varieties into a harmonious, alcohol-free red wine with an intense array of aromas.

During a period of at least three years in the barrel and bottle, the Reserva unfolds its velvety fullness, elegance and lively variety, with an aromatic aftertaste of candied che.

This single-varietal Tempranillo peludo is certainly an oddity.

Campillo 57 is an opulent homage to the year Julio Faustino Martínez took the reins of the group.

A touch of château surrounds this Gran Reserva, from the hand-picking of the grapes in small harvest boxes to the aging in new Allier oak.

The strenght is to be found in serenity.

A top year for a powerful wine. Triennia de Portia 2015 comes from the Pago Carronda vineyard, situated at an altitude of around 900-950 meters, and is also high-end in the bottle.

In the La Encina vineyard, in the Golden Triangle of the DO Ribera del Duero, nature is given almost free rein and only the fine-tuning is done in the cellar.
