The Ölberg is characterised by limestone marl.

The Stettener Pulvermächer was first mentioned in 1650. In the nearby quarry, the Pulvermächer (old job title for explosives expert) carried out blasting.

When it comes to white wine, the Piquepoul Blanc grape variety is the most important in the Picpoul de Pinet region.

The Löwengang Chardonnay has not only shaped the winery's success story, but also established the quality status of the wine region of South Tyrol.

Its name takes us back to the Baron Gaun family in the 17th century, the first owners of the Löwengang estate.

Pepi was named after the classic Sauvignon growing areas of Penon and Pinzon in the municipalities of Kurtatsch and Montan.

The wine is matured in stainless steel tanks. This wine contains the full range of typical aromas of the Sauvignon grapes, underlined by a fine, mineral note.
