Deep and gripping. From ancient, 55 year old vines. A real heavyweight: concentrated, full-bodied, as mineral as it is juicy.

Light roasted notes, some herbal spice, ripe papaya, star fruit, brioche notes and some apricot.

The local wine from the Landerer winemakers impresses with its fullness and creaminess, as it was spontaneously fermented and matured for several months on the full yeast in large.

The steep Schlossberg slope has calcareous volcanic rock. The vines were cultivated using the Selection Massale method to preserve the genetic diversity in the vineyard.
