The château was owned by the family until 2020 and has been considered one of the best Grand Crus of Saint-Émilion since the 19th century.

Jean Paul Garde took over Château Les Vieux Ormes, one of the oldest family wineries in the region, from his father in 1974.

This cuvée embodies the essence of carefree enjoyment! A refreshing scent of juicy sour cherries and fresh black currants unfolds on the nose.

Notes of plum compote, blackberries and a hint of bay leaves. Medium to full-bodied with slightly grippy tannins and a lively, herbal finish. Elegant and classic.

Intense and precise fruit. Dark berries, cherry and cassis with spice and tea notes. Medium to full-bodied with firm, fine-grained tannins, nice freshness and a complex finish.
