This red Bergerac was vinified from the classic Bordeaux grape varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep purple in the glass.

The typical red wine grape of the Jumilla region is Monastrell. The variety is perfectly adapted to the dry conditions and ensures a lot of fruit and body with low yields.

In the catchy cuvée from the Jumilla region, the Macabeo grape variety provides the Mediterranean character and a good structure, while Sauvignon Blanc provides a wonderfully frui.

Many local grape varieties in the former Austro-Hungarian cultural area are called Refosco. The Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso is distinguished by the red stems that give it its name.

As the name Auslese already implies, the grapes are selected here in a particularly complex manner and only fully ripe and noble rotten grapes are harvested.
