Pinot Blanc has a long tradition in Austria and is almost as at home here as Grüner Veltliner, even if it is not as important in terms of quantity.

The Semillon 2021 from Boekenhoutskloof unfolds a remarkable presence, characterized by a hint of oak and cozy warmth. The grapes come from vineyards up to 120 years old.

Exotic, but at the same time mineral bouquet. What is striking on the palate is the voluminous fullness, which perfectly underlines the acidic minerality.

A very fine and extremely mineral nose, subtle fruit, and a long finish.

Even more restless, yeasty, nutty, and slightly sulphurous aromas of ripe stone fruit and partly candied citrus fruits with herbal notes and pronounced minerality.

Firm and deep, reductive, slightly smoky and still a touch sulfurous aroma with herbal notes, citrus aromas, peach, apricot and intense minerality.

The old vines produce particularly concentrated grapes. Extended lees aging underpins the classic notes of grapefruit and linden blossom with noticeable richness and balance.

Classic nose of slate minerality with various reductive fruit components, dried apples, candied stone and pome fruit with a hint of caramel and brioche.
