The Bürgstadter Berg Spätburgunder 1st location is an “Old World wine” through and through! In this pure and finely balanced red wine, the taste focus is clearly on Pinot Noir.

Cool nose with lots of wild berries: blackberries, currants, raspberries, herbal spices, some vanilla and crème brûlée.

A Spätburgunder, also known as Pinot Noir, is presented here in an impressive variant from the Bernhart winery, which is valued for its high quality in the Palatinate.

Translucent cherry red. Scents of sour cherries, some plums, ink and tobacco on the nose. Powerful on the palate, gripping with fresh berry components and ethereal notes.

Not Red, but rather Black, judging by the color. Deep spice with fresh leather and some smoke.

One imagines an opulent, heavy red wine when one thinks of the Portugieser - but far from it.

Since 2008, the two brothers Steffen and Andreas have been running the Rings winery in Freinsheim, which they took over from their parents - they have been VDP members since 2015.

The Pinot Noir GG Heerkretz by Wagner-Stempel from 2020 impresses with a clear, youthful red color and a scent that combines ripe red fruits with earthy and woody notes.

Hohen-Sülzen is located in the Eisbachtal. The low mountain stream rises from the Donnersberg massif and has a significant climatic influence on the valley.

This cuvée is characterized by aromas of black currant, wild berries, light red cherries, smoke with herbal notes and a hint of cocoa.

Roasted nuts, cold smoke, nougat chocolate, fine dried spices, dried cherries and delicate wood spices.

Cold wood chimney smoke with dry spices, some pomegranate, red tomatoes and ripe cherries.

A full-bodied red wine that seduces the senses: With its fine, rounded character, the Assmannshäuser Höllenberg presents aromas of raspberry, cherry and cranberry, underpinned by.

The Pinot, which shines in transparent ruby red, shows a cool, a spicy and a juicy side.

Roasted nuts, cold smoke, nougat chocolate, fine dried spices, dried cherries and delicate wood spices.

Very warm nose with lots of spice, cigar box, cold smoke and some red fruit like cassis and black pepper.

Talrain Pinot Noir

Dark forest soil with pine cones, fine dry and wood spices, a little dried plums, wild cherries, dark chocolate and cold smoke. Intense and calm nose.

Deep red color. Cool nose with lots of cold smoke, dark berries, bark, smoke from burning autumn leaves and some glue.

The Catholic parish church in Dernau is still the landowner of this plot of land today - hence the name.

Deep dark color with lots of spice, dried chocolate crepe, cassis, plum and some wood spice.

After good press reviews for the red wine with the first 2020 vintage, the ambition of everyone involved grew, but especially that of the cellar master.
