The 2021 vintage is once again of great class, the Großes Gewächs from the top Himmelreich site in the Moselle town of Graach.

Herbal and spicy nose with lots of vineyard peach and tart citrus zest, a hint of ice candy and some fresh hay with chamomile.

Firm and quite deep, still reductive, clearly yeasty and herbal nose of ripe yellow fruit with floral nuances and clear minerality.

Yeasty, tobacco and slightly nutty scent with yellow fruit and peppery aromas as well as clear minerality, protein, white pepper and some sage.

This Riesling Große Gewächs - the highest classification of the VDP - has a floral nose with yellow fruit aromas and fine minerality. The minerality also dominates the palate.

The Riesling Ungsteiner Nussriegel is considered a puristic, strong Riesling type, which is already evident in the bouquet.
