The Tor di Lupo Lagrein is Andrian's flagship wine and a showcase for South Tyrol. A powerful red wine, garnet red with violet reflections, it always displays a floral note.
On the nose, aromas of dried sunflower seeds, orange blossom, licorice, and a hint of truffle unfold.
The nose is dominated by aromas of sour cherries, wild strawberries, and violets. On the palate, it is very juicy with a subtle spiciness.
[Description] Corte Fiore is produced using the appassito method, resulting in a dense and powerful wine.
After its long maturation in large wooden casks, this well-balanced vintage is already quite approachable, but its best years are surely still ahead.
A perfect vintage, both in terms of climate and production.
2018 was a very good vintage in Montalcino, with a very respectable quantity. In the glass, a typical deep ruby red.
The grapes processed at Poggio di Sotto could theoretically all be classified as Brunello.
The 2021 vintage of Rosso is essentially a graded Brunello. The winery carefully selects the more approachable Brunello barrels and uses them to produce its Rosso.
In the glass, a bright ruby red with very slight garnet reflections. A truly beautiful nose. Initially, plenty of floral notes and red fruit, violets and ripe raspberries.
In the excellent 2019 vintage, the grapes reached ideal ripeness, particularly in the single vineyard FIORE DEL VENTO. The wine displays a very vibrant, dark garnet color.
In the glass, a dark ruby red. On the nose, floral, almost light-footed. Light tobacco, tonka beans, sweet cherries, and a hint of kola nut.
Following the excellent 2018 vintage, 2019 was a truly outstanding year. Rainfall wasn't abundant, but it was distributed quite evenly across the different growing seasons.
2018 was a good vintage in Montalcino, but perhaps not a truly great one.
In 2017, the temperature differences between day and night remained significant, consistently between 12 and 15°C.

Similar to the 2018 Riserva, Giovanni has further refined the use of oak. Not necessarily less oak, but integrated with a touch more elegance than in the past.
The partial drying of the grapes, through natural aeration, results in concentrated aromas and firm tannins. After fermentation, the wine matures for over a year in wooden barrels.
Dark red color with a nose of spicy notes and a hint of clove. On the palate, delicate aromas of black berries and a delightful spiciness.
