Markus Wöhrle really has a knack for aging in wooden barrels. Everything is harmonious here, just right and nothing too much. Beautiful nose with a lot of elegant roasted aromas: smoke, straw, biscuit dough, roasted hazelnuts, reminds a bit of a good cognac that has been matured in wooden barrels for a long time. In the mouth then walnut bread, pear juice, vanilla as well as blood oranges and tangerines. Powerful due to the subtle addition of tannins and loess minerality, lingers on the palate for a long time.
