The Rivetti brothers, top producers from the renowned Piedmontese winery La Spinetta, also own a beautiful estate in Tuscany. Called "Casanova della Spinetta," it's nestled in the hills near Terricciola, between Pisa and Volterra. There, they produce eight wines from indigenous grape varieties, as well as a sensational olive oil. Initially, it was only the Sangiovese grape that captivated Giorgio Rivetti in Tuscany, but he soon discovered the many other typical grape varieties of the region, for which he quickly developed a great passion. Recognizing the signs of the times, Giorgio Rivetti produced a fine, crisp white wine. On his Tuscan estate, he owns a small vineyard planted with the typical Vermentino grape. The wine is fermented exclusively in stainless steel tanks and aged for four months on the lees. This wonderfully mineral white wine offers an ideal balance of price and quality. The limestone soil gives the wine its perfect acidity. Color: bright straw yellow. Aroma: notes of citrus fruits, chamomile blossoms, and ripe pineapple. Taste: On the palate, it is fresh and refined, with delicate herbal notes and a mineral nuance. The finish is clean and fresh.
