The grapes thrive on slopes between 250 and 550 m. The vineyards have lime-rich, loamy to gravelly-clay soils and are exposed to strong temperature fluctuations between day and night. Above-average temperatures in spring encouraged earlier budding. The persistent warm temperatures in May resulted in rapid flowering. Thanks to targeted work in the vineyard and occasional rain, the vines were kept in a stress-free condition, despite periods of extreme heat in the summer. The harvest began almost two weeks earlier than usual. Because the weather was ideal, grapes of outstanding quality were harvested throughout the entire harvest period. The red wines of the 2022 vintage are impressive, they benefit from a high degree of ripeness and develop a complex fruit and full taste with strong aromas. The white wines have a distinctive, finesse-rich fruit with a balanced acidity. Color: greenish to light yellow nuances. Smell: Its bouquet has a light apple smell as well as notes of nuts and green leaves. Taste: Pinot Blanc is a fresh, fruity white wine with a dry, full-bodied taste. The balance between body and acidity is very harmonious.
