Resembling an amphitheater, rising to 150 m and opening towards the Rhine in the south-east, the Kirchspiel site is perfect for great Rieslings. Protected from cold winds, the vines, which are up to 30 years old, were able to produce fully ripe grapes again in the 2021 vintage. Typical are the citrus and apricot notes in combination with light flint nuances and the self-contained minerality of the limestone and the clay marl. A white wine full of character and depth with a long, intense finish.
