The Sauvignon Blanc grape variety is on the rise in Germany with ever-improving qualities. The grapes can usually ripen optimally in the well-protected Würzburg vineyards. If these are then grown by quality-obsessed winegrowers like the Knolls, only good things can come of it. Wonderfully fragrant nose of exotic fruits, gooseberries and red grapefruit. Robust on the palate with firm acidity and slightly green notes, never trivial and always with a gripping, never-ending freshness. So completely different in aroma than the highly reputable Silvaner, but still a real Knoll!
