The grapes for St. Nikolaus GG were harvested around four weeks later in this late-ripening year than in the previous year. Intense nose with very inviting notes of passion fruit and green apricot. This is accompanied by pomelo, orange jam, yeasty and doughy notes and almond blossom. The impressive minerality of the wine is evident in the mouth; there is so much pull and radiance paired with fine melting. Flint, exotic and yellow fruits and a fine creaminess reminiscent of Burgundy. The wine has an enormous length, yet it is somewhat slimmer and even more elegant than in previous years.
