Like the GG from the St. Nikolaus location, the Doosberg GG is also allowed to mature for two years before being marketed. The Doosberg simply seems to ignore the fact that this 2020 vintage was characterized by sun and warmth, as if trying to outsmart climate change. Mineral, marked by cool stone, fruit from the just ripe peach, powerfully structured, the wine definitely has bite, but with an acidity that you like immediately. The elegance and finesse with which the wine presents itself is magnificent.
