The large MEERSPINNE site, formerly the Gimmeldinger almond garden, extends over seven hectares and has been known since 1456. It is considered one of the best sites in the region and benefits from cool night winds that preserve the acidity of the grapes. The soil consists of red sandstone scree and loess over a limestone massif. The Riesling GG is characterized by a taut, cool structure and spicy, citrus aromas, with spicy notes, Amalfi lemons and a mineral freshness. The wine shows elegance and an exciting balance between citrus acidity, yellow fruitiness and the typical minerality. Long, salty finish. A must for lovers of mineral-driven wines.
