The Pechstein, in its 2025 vintage, once again presents itself as one of the estate's most distinctive single-origin wines. Still young and characterized by great inner density, it currently benefits from a little aeration in the glass or a short decanting period. The nose is defined by a cool, profound minerality reminiscent of flint, wet slate, and fine graphite. Subtle citrus notes and restrained yellow fruit complement the complex interplay of aromas without masking its terroir. On the palate, the Riesling is focused, powerful, and simultaneously impressively precise. The vibrant acidity lends tension and freshness, while the intense minerality provides depth, structure, and exceptional length.
