The grapes for Riesling come exclusively from the Buntsandstein, which is characteristic of this wine-growing region of the Palatinate. The vine roots deep into this type of soil and thus shapes the mineral Rieslings. There are also short mashing times, long pressing times and spontaneous fermentation in 1,200l and 2,400l barrels, some of which contain whole grapes. After fermentation, the wine matures on the full yeast for 12 months. On the nose, notes of honeydew melon, ripe papaya and Williams pear. Wonderfully playful on the palate with perfectly dosed acidity and a fine minerality. An elegant, lively Palatinate Riesling, typical of the vintage, without lacking in depth.
