Selective hand picking, natural clarification through sedimentation and spontaneous fermentation reflect the character of the unique location in the wine. After racking, the wine is left on the fine lees and battoned to generate additional flavor volume. A still youthful wine with great potential and a shelf life of 10 years. Located on the outskirts of Forst in der Pflaz, in the immediate vicinity of the Kirchenstück and Ungeheuer, the Jesuitengarten is one of the best vineyards in the Palatinate due to its extremely high mineral content. It is characterized by sandy clay with lime, sandy loam with limestone boulders and in places a high concentration of basalt weathering.
