Ripe mirabelle plums on the nose. Caramelized pineapple and a fine spontaneous spice. Ripe, sweet fruit on the palate, with lively acidity. Intense and particularly long-lasting. Location & Terroir Vineyard: The legendary Bernkasteler Doctor rises with its steep slope directly above Bernkastel at a height of 125 meters to 200 meters above sea level. According to legend, it got its name from Archbishop Boemund II, who, after being cured of a serious illness, called this location the "true doctor". Internationally, Doctor wines are always at the top. At 3.26 hectares, it is one of the smallest individual locations in Germany. Terroir: Devonian clay slate weathered soil.
