On the western outskirts of Deidesheim is what is said to be the best location in the entire town and its surroundings: Hohenmorgen. The name goes back to the old area measure "morning" and refers to as much land as a man with a team can plow in one morning. The "high" part describes the up to seven meter high supporting walls on which the vineyard stands. The location is completely south facing. The bouquet shows both citric and stone fruit aromas. Its powerful, mineral structure allows the Riesling to mature to its peak over the next eight to ten years.
