The cultivation of Riesling on the Bürgstadter Berg has a long tradition. The best grapes come from a terraced plot in Centgrafenberg, which dates back to the archbishops of Mainz. In terms of alcohol, our Riesling from Buntsandstein is almost always moderate with between 11% and 12.5% and, in its characteristic independence, goes more in the direction of the primary rock soils of the western Rheingau and the Nahe than to Franconian Riesling from shell limestone. The expansion takes place in the classic double-piece barrel. The Centgrafenberg VDP.Grosses Gewächs and the Erste Lage are mineral, the Grand Cru has aromas of white vineyard peach and citrus. The Rieslings are characterized by their longevity. The Ortswein is minerally crystalline with the typicality of the red stone.
