The Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrieres 2011, which was bottled later than the Genevrieres, around the end of April, has a beautifully defined bouquet of quince, a hint of peppermint and clementine that unfolds beautifully in the glass. The palate is extremely balanced from the start. This Perrieres shows intensity and vivacity, shimmering with lemon and apricot on the first sip and has a spicy undercurrent of white pepper and even jam. Very deep on the finish - a fabulous wine.
