The name

The cuvée comes from the draft animals that worked on these plots. These old vines,

, which were planted at high densities, required the work of a mule, which is finer, more maneuverable and more resilient than

the traditional horse.

This property of approximately 7 hectares is located on the low

Terraces made of pebbles of alluvial origin. The

Soil consists mainly of clay and limestone.

VINE AGE 40 to 60 years

- 55% Marsanne and 45% Roussanne.

Pretty pale yellow, crystalline color. Fruity nose with aromas of white fruit, pear and vineyard peach. Lively in the attack, but a nice roundness in the mid-palate, expressed in floral notes of acacia.

The finish ends with mineral notes, chalk powder.
