The Carmes de Rieussec Sauternes combines the typical Sauternes grapes Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels. The wine then matures for 18 months in French oak barrels. This noble sweet wine has a clear, pale gold color, and the nose is caressed by aromas of mango and pineapple, as well as notes of oak from the barrel maturation. The taste is full of sweetness: honey, nuts and a hint of caramel. Particularly suitable as a dessert wine that goes well with fruit desserts, blue cheese, pâté and duck liver.
