The two winemakers, Jerome and Pierre, are behind the Alza wines. They tend the 3.5 hectares of Pinot Blanc vines in southern Alsace, from pruning to harvest. The grapes are hand-picked and then whole-cluster pressed. After fermentation, the Alza Blanc ages for several months in stainless steel tanks on its fine lees before being filtered and bottled. Color: Pale yellow with golden reflections; Aroma: Pear, blossoms, subtle spice; Taste: Fresh and pleasantly dry, delicate and elegant.
