Part of the vines in the Steinmassl vineyard grow using the "Lyra" training system, an elaborate wire-frame system originating in France. This system divides the canopy, allowing each individual leaf more air and sunlight. The grapes dry thoroughly, while the canopy also protects them from excessive sun exposure. The result is high-quality grapes, the foundation for top-tier wines. On the palate, it's delicate, with notes of white vineyard peach, a hint of tropical fruit, nuances of lime zest, and a mineral touch. Firm and tightly structured, with lemony notes and green apple, it's crisp and light-bodied. A lean and precise food wine with excellent aging potential – a formidable summer wine.
