The term Federspiel comes from falconry and, according to the Vinea Wachau guidelines, refers to medium-bodied wines with a (natural) alcohol content of between 11.5 and 12.5%. Clear structure with finely chiseled acidity, minerality, a full range of aromas (juicy red apple, citrus peel, vanilla, grated hazelnut) and creaminess characterize this Riesling from one of the best locations in the Wachau.
