In Sievering, a district in Vienna's 19th district, there are 50-year-old vines on very calcareous sandstone weathering soils in the Riede Kaasgraben. The location is further away from the Danube than the others at Wieninger and somewhat higher. This causes significantly greater day-night temperature differences, leads to a high aroma depth and increases the complexity of the wines. Juicy on the palate and slightly smoky mineral notes.
