Mineral explosion “Made on Leithaberg”. Lime & slate from the St. Margarethen site. Light straw yellow. Grapefruit and crunchy pear fruit on the nose, plus fine yeast notes, underlined with flint. A smoky minerality on the palate, the barrel aging ensures creaminess and fullness, the hearty acidity ensures perfect drinking flow. Long finish. This wine thrives on its fine minerality and creaminess. Read by hand. Maturation for 9 months on the fine yeast, fermentation and aging in a 500 l wooden barrel. It goes perfectly with cheese as the taste and saltiness of the cheese combines wonderfully with the mineral notes of the wine. Also with white meat such as poultry.
