The grapes for this extraordinary Chardonnay come exclusively from the Viennese Bisamberg. Fermentation and expansion take place 75% in barriques, with about 30% new wood. After 15 months of storage in the barrels, the wine is bottled. The finest nose with an attractive stone fruit note, underlaid with a little papaya and orange zest. Solid on the palate, delicate caramel, fine acid structure, round and harmonious, elegant and already surprisingly accessible. Despite the high physiological ripeness of the grapes, the Select has a great freshness and tension with simultaneous depth. Always one of Fritz Wieninger's figureheads!
