Late Harvest is not a traditional wine category in Tokaj. It is a modern variant of the sweet Furmint, which allows even non-connoisseurs to enter the historical, complex, but sometimes very traditional world of the Tokaji people. This was made from 100% Furmint and aged on the fine yeast in steel tanks for 10 months. Wonderful scent of candied orange peel and ripe yellow apples. Reminiscent of Sauternes on the nose. There are nutty aromas and caramel on the palate. Great introduction to Hungary's sweet world cultural heritage and the perfect accompaniment to Asian dishes!
