Marco Parusso has produced a Rose Spumante using the Barolo Nebbiolo grape using the champagne process (Metode Champenoise). The Nebbiolo grape, actually known for strong Barolo, shows incredible freshness and elegance in this unique Rose Spumante. The grapes all come from Barolo vineyards near Monforte d'Alba. The Spumante matured on the lees in the bottle for 48 months. Color: strong salmon pink, fine perlage. Scent: very winey, reminiscent of roses. Taste: full and strong, but also elegant and very fruity.
