When Giorgio Rivetti and his family acquired the Contratto winery, the goal was to produce a truly exceptional spumante. Their vision was to create the best Metodo Classico of all time. To achieve this goal, father and son, Giorgio and Andrea, have selected the very best Pinot Noir (90%) and Chardonnay (10%). Before bottling, the Chardonnay was aged for 7 months in French wooden barrels to become balanced and velvety. This special cuvee, then finished, matured in the bottle for 6 years on its valuable yeast. Color: sparkling light yellow, long-lasting perlage. Fragrance: strong nose with aromas of white fruits. Taste: dry and delicately fruity, strong, fresh acid, mineral.
