Our Secret Council J Sekt 2016 is presented for the first time as a brut nature. Fine and elegant perlage, characterized by its aroma from its base wine. Ripe scent of quinces and plums, candied orange peel and kumquats on the palate. A tart, fruity freshness remains, with a sweet spiciness in the aftertaste. Location & Terroir Since 1987, the finest Riesling grapes have been selected by hand from the best Grand Cru locations in the Rheingau for the production of sparkling wine using traditional methods. After three to five years of aging on the yeast, it is disgorged batch by batch. In this sparkling wine, the racy mineral sites of the lower Rheingau, above all the legendary Rüdesheim mountain sites and the Geisenheim Rothenberg, are combined with the soft and full-bodied terroirs around Oestrich ( Oestricher Lenchen ) and Winkel ( Winkeler Jesuitengarten and Winkeler Hasensprung ). Minerality is combined with soft fruit.
