A fitting play on words: the ÈSSENZA from the single vineyard 'Cascina' comes without any dosage. Like the Satèn, it is a Blanc de Blancs made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. The name says it all and the quality really can be seen as the essence of the sparkling wine region of Franciacorta. Puristic appearance with style, incredibly fine and elegant, yeast notes on the nose, fresh fruit and a hint of lemon, high minerality. A finer perlage is hard to imagine.
