A special Pizzolato speciality is this Rosato from the BACK TO BASIC line. The Pinot Grigio grape variety is known as a white wine grape, but its skins also contain a small amount of colorants (anthocyanins), which are known in red wines. After destemming, the grapes are left in contact with the skins for 12 hours. This maceration gives the wine its classic copper color. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine remains in contact with the yeasts for at least 6 months. Wonderful fruity bouquet with clear hints of wild flowers and a delicate finish reminiscent of wild strawberries. Very balanced in the mouth, fresh and with a fine melt at the end.
