WE 94-26-37 comes from a cross that was originally created in 1994 at the LVWO Weinsberg. Its breeding line combines genetic components from Lemberger and Dornfelder. It also has resistance genes from American Vitis species against the fungal diseases Peronospora and Oidium. Fine nose of raspberries and Breschdlingsgsälz (Swabian for strawberry jam).
