Some of the grapes come from the vineyards surrounding Woodbridge Winery in Lodi, one of the first AVAs

in California. All grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, completely destemmed, then gently crushed and

Fermented with selected yeasts at slightly warmer temperatures to maximize their complex aromas

to express. An extended maceration time for some of the wines underlines this

aromatic intensity and gentle tannin structure of the cuvée, the aging in French and American

Oak finishes it off with warm fullness and delicate roasted notes.

The bouquet has spicy, fruity notes of cherries, cedar wood and brown sugar. Medium-strong on the palate

Aromas of juicy berries, chocolate and delicious, slightly roasted caramel notes in the finish.
