The 2019 Merlot is ruby red in color. It opens with aromas of ripe red cherry, Asian plum and cranberry with hints of black olive, tea leaf, baking spice and sweet oak. When tasting, flavors emerge of ripe, dark cherries, mirabelle plums and plums with sweet brown sugar, English toffee and mocha. The finish is soft and long-lasting.
