The Pintia 2019 presents itself in the glass in a dense purple red with violet reflections. The nose is dominated by black and red cherries, blueberries and blackberries, accompanied by roasted mocha beans, bitter nut chocolate and subtle floral notes that give the wine depth and volume. The palate shows a rich fruitiness and ravishing melt. The very present, juicy and almost sweet tannin gives the wine an endless length. The fine extract sweetness and the chalky, fine-grained tannin give fullness and dimension to the fine-meshed texture. Notes of black forest berries, liquorice and a floral nuance of violet petals emerge. The characteristic Toro minerality and the well-dosed barrique toasting integrate seamlessly into the sophisticated fruit aromas of the 2019 Pintia.
