The Marqués de Murrieta winery is among the most distinguished wineries in Rioja and the Iberian Peninsula. Founded in 1852, the estate has been owned by the Counts of Creixell since 1983 and is now run by the second generation, Vicente Dalmau Cebrián-Sagarriga. In collaboration with María Vargas, one of Spain's leading oenologists, world-renowned wines are produced on the impressive estate near Logroño in the Rioja Alta region.
