Dirk van der Niepoort was among the first to start producing dry red wines on the steep slopes of the Douro Valley. His Fabulous Tinto is a prime example of this: juicy, mineral and strongly aromatic, yet velvety and perfectly round on the palate. Fruity notes, especially of blackberries and raspberries, and a fine elegance are typical of the Fabelhaft.
