The Tignanello vineyard is harvested particularly late, and only carefully hand-selected grapes are used for this wine. The ‘Tignanello’ is intensely fruity and complex in the bouquet, in the taste it shows an optimal structure, is balanced with gentle tannins and a pleasantly long aftertaste. Tignanello 2019 presents itself in a ruby red color. On the nose it impresses with its great complexity. Notes of ripe red fruit, strawberry and pomegranate alternate with delicate hints of apricot and peach in syrup, accompanied by elegant nuances of vanilla, dried flowers and chocolate and pleasant spicy notes of nutmeg. The bouquet is rounded off with notes of coffee, caramel and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate the wine is enveloping and graceful, with silky vibrant tannins that give it liveliness, palatability and flavor persistence. The aftertaste is characterized by notes of roasted coffee and bitter cocoa.
