This ruby red Montepulciano is grown at over 250 meters above sea level in the municipality of Controguerra. After fermentation, the wine is stored in large barrels, where it ages for about 12 months. Its complex scent reveals notes of sour cherries and ripe blackberries. This is accompanied by very characteristic aromas of coffee powder, tobacco and liquorice.
