This Lagrein selection comes from three single vineyards with nearly century-old vines growing on porphyry soils. After slow maceration, the wine matures for 18 months in barriques. Licorice, coffee beans, vanilla, cloves, and black tea mingle with aromas of sour cherry and blueberry. On the palate, it is compact and concentrated, with peppery spice, dark chocolate, and finely polished tannins. It matures particularly slowly in the double magnum.
